Labels

Etykieta antykradzieżowaSecurity labels (other name: stickers) are used primarily to protect products which cannot be protected with tags, because of their size, material, etc. Labels are disposable, they are sold together with the merchandise.

There are three main types of anti-theft labels available:

  • RF - usually square or rectangular-shaped, the smallest available size is 30 mm x 30 mm.
  • EM - the smallest of all labels, usually rectangle-shaped, the smallest dimensions offered by OPTIGUARD is 32 mm x 6 mm.
  • AM - smaller than the RF labels, but bigger than the EM type. Unlike the previous two types, their thickness is an important factor. They are defined as three-dimensional labels. The smallest available size is 50 x 10mm.

Apart from the basic division according to technology, there are other classifications of security labels. An important feature distinguishing between labels is their deactivatibility. There are deactivatable and non-deactivatable labels, also referred to as permanent labels. The great diversity among these types of safeguards makes them very versatile Any product can be protected with labels, regardless of its size.

WARNING! Labels can not be used interchangeably, i.e.: if a retailer uses a RF gateway, it is not possible to use AM or EM labels; if a retailer uses EM gateways, it is not possible to use RF and AM labels. AM gateways do not work with EM and RF labels.
