Panoptika is a system for the automatic collecting, storing and analysing of information. Panoptika can track the movement of people in the entire store and its various departments, as well as analyse the amount of door openings and other events related to the operation of external devices, such as lighting or alarm systems.
 
DETAILS OF OPERATION:
Panoptika operation does not involve any personnel and is not visible for staff or for people present in the monitored areas. The system does not use camcorders or other mechanisms that could interfere with the privacy of the staff or visitors in the monitored locations. Panoptika collects data, using discrete motion sensors, infrared sensors, door opening sensors, in order to track the movement of people and its intensity in particular departments or store sections. Panoptika also monitors the operation of the existing systems, such as lighting or alarm systems, following the compliance with procedures in an institution.

All this is intended to increase safety and efficiency of the monitored places. The collected data can be used to introduce or review safety procedures. Another application of the Panoptika system is to measure the performance of personnel and electronic systems in various locations, e.g. of anti-theft systems. Thanks to the possibility of comparing data from longer periods of time and a large number of sites, the information collected by Panoptika is valuable material for further analysis, statistics and forecasts. It also meets the strictest criteria of comparability, as data is always collected according to the same procedure, regardless of location.
